Abacab, released in 1981, became the first Genesis record to break the million-copy sales mark in the U.S. "No Reply At All," "Man on the Corner" and the title track all charted as Top 40 singles. The Genesis hit factory was now in full swing, and the shadow of Peter Gabriel had begun to fade.
