The Montreal Guitar Trio is back with its second album 'Garam Masala', on the new label Banyan. With a repertoire ranging from Boccherini to Metheny, the Trio's arrangements combine a classical framework with strong world music influences passing through folk, jazz, flamenco and bluegrass, all the way to the music of India and eastern Europe. The album is also presenting a wide range of prestigious guest artists from a mosaic of musical cultures.
